Probably not the forum for this, but wondering...

 

Not that I'm against Navarro, let's see what he's got, but...why didn't they bring up Danny Valencia who seems to be destroying it at AAA?  above .300 BA, 11 HRs, 32 RBIs (if I remember correctly).  Wasn't he supposed to be a guy we could work in?  Just curious.   See you all tonight....right here!

Navarro has been hitting well himself, and he can play all over the infield while Valencia is pretty much restricted to third and DH.

I don't know whether the team thinks that or not, but he's never played there professionally.

 

Navarro may have a chance to take over second base. He has a .395 OBP in Norfolk, and was walking almost as much as he struck out. I'd like to see what he can do.

Based on what Big Stevie says, there's not a hitter at AAA who's not crushing it right now...Valencia has 7 HRs in his past 9 games?!?!?  Even @ AAA, that's sick!

 

Maybe we can trade Manny for some top pitching and bring up Valencia.

Hamms needs to keep that ball int he dirt tonight and not let it elevate...sick of seeing HRs off him.

Interesting to hear Palmer mention that Hammel has been experiencing a little bit of tightness in his forearm. I hadn't heard that before.
