While I think these guys can be successful in the short term, I am not sold on them long term.I'm looking forward to seeing Wada for the same reasons you guys like Johnson, and Gonzalez. Parmelee walks.

I don't think Johnson or Gonzalez will be able to match the success they had last year, but I see no reason why they can't be solid 4/5 starters even on a playoff caliber team.

I don't think they're smoke and mirrors guys, but if you can't miss bats then you're going to have trouble. Johnson has shown he can miss bats so far, but I don't know if he has the stuff to keep doing that once the book is out on him. While I think these guys can be successful in the short term, I am not sold on them long term.I don't think Johnson or Gonzalez will be able to match the success they had last year, but I see no reason why they can't be solid 4/5 starters even on a playoff caliber team.

Johnson was always a fairly high strikeout pitcher through the minors and that has continued even through his short stint in the majors. I'm not so sure he can't maintain a solid K rate even once "the book is out on him."

Jones breaks his bat, he's done, O's done in the 3rd.

I love JJ as much as anyone, but I really hate these regular season consecutive ___________ streaks. JJ's consecutive saves streak ended last October against the Yankees. Not trying to pick on him, but it's worth mentioning.

I just wish an Oriole would turn his back into a pitch a la Brady.

Not only that, but every time they mention it you're almost forced to think about that Yankees game.I love JJ as much as anyone, but I really hate these regular season consecutive ___________ streaks. That's true. Maybe he'll be all right. I hope so.I don't think they're smoke and mirrors guys, but if you can't miss bats then you're going to have trouble. Monster park there in Minnesota...good lord.
No doubt, huge alleys.
Davis flies out to deep right to start the 4th. Nice play from Parmelee.
