Machado was safe at third. But when the ball beats you, you are automatically out these days.
Unfortunately that is how it works sometimes.

Hey Pedroia....hit that, punk ass!

A lot of pitches for Tillman so far.

Instant replay would have worked in our favor.

Good job by Tillman to get the next three out after Ellsbury.

"This is gonna be a tough play, Machado..."
Really Thorne? Really!? he's only the best defensive 3B in the league besides maybe a certain Tampa Bay 3B whose name we will not speak in this land...

Tilly looks pretty solid to me so far...a bit high on the pitch count, but all he needs is a 9 pitch inning next inning and we're back to "par".

Absolutely. He was safe. That is an example of anump going on a judgement call, instead of really focusing on the play. If he looked closely he would have known that.

Oh no doubts. The high amount of pitches was the only concern thus far.

Sit down, Mole rat!
At least he's good at baseball... he has that going for him...
My mother is a Red Sox fan and loves Pedroia. I make fun of him all the time.
