C'mon Flaherty - time to become acquainted with Pesky.
Or keep your 0-fer alive. Ugh.
We'll let 'em have their home opener and feel like they're good again... we'll bounce back.

Casilla should be starting over Flaherty.

Flaherty, ugh. He might be better served in Norfolk, playing everyday.

This will be the year we finish .500 ish but you're going to pull your hair out watching it. Blown leads, untimely hitting, etc. The offense will explode at times and we'll pitch well at times and look like a really, really good team. Just a gut feeling though that we'll lose a lot of tighter games. Games that could go either way in the 7th inning. I mean we've been even or ahead in every one of our losses in the 7th + inning. '13 feels like it'll be the anti '12. Where we found a way to win almost all of those games last year ,it feels like its going to all even out the very next year. We'll probably lose more than our fair share of games late this year.

Like last year, this team will go as far as the bullpen will take them. They will lose some more games in the fashion they did today. That's baseball. But the final game in the Rays series, Saturdays game with the Twins, those would have been winners last year. Bullpen has to start pitching better.

The final game in the Rays series we won, I think you mean the middle game, which the bullpen did struggle in but Strop's bad inning (and 3 runs) were very unlucky/circumstantial. On Saturday, the bullpen gave up one unearned run in five and a third innings. Is that really a game you're putting on the 'pen?
