Buchholz 2013: 1-0, 1.29 era, 7 ip, 6 hits, 1 hr, 2 bb's, 4 k's

After a tough weekend, starting the trip with a win today would be good. Follow that with the day off tomorrow, preparing for the rest of the week.

 

Should be able to use the bullpen aggressively today, if need be.

Let's hope Middlebrooks is OK to cool off a bit. He is off to a great start, and it obviously culminated yesterday with a 4/5 day (3 homers and a double). 

 

Even though they tattooed Dickey, sometimes offense can struggle for a game or two after facing a knuckler. I'll be pulling for that outcome.

I heard on the radio Buck stated Wednesday he would be back.

Interesting that the last time we had a .500 record was after the first 6 games last year. We never fell below .500 last year at any time.
