I didn't complain about your heat of the moment reactions.
This next line is not directed at you. I'm speaking in-general. The game threads here last year were excellent because they avoided the crying and absurdity found elsewhere. When things go wrong (and things will go wrong), I expect people to post rationally.
Additional thoughts found here (http://www.baltimore...8-game-threads/).
You are an intelligent guy, with good opinions on a number of sports. You care about the teams. You are exactly the type of person I am attempting to reach with this site.
My previous post was not about you being worked up during the game. All of us don't have to always agree on things. We all have strong opinions. My post was about wanting you and Rob to treat each other with respect.
This should always be fun.
Off my soap-box.... heading to bed. Long day, excited about our announcements in the morning.
Yeah, I was sort of responding to what you were saying about being respectful of one another even though it looks like I wasn't. All I was saying was sometimes I'm going to vent and be a bit irrational. Obviously, saying stuff like "bad loss" in the 7th inning and saying we have no shot at getting to Rodney is overreaction but again it's heat of the moment stuff. A lot fo the posters sort of called me out but in a respectful or joking way. Thats fine. I realize I'm ranting.
Rob, unsurprisingly, starting making personal attacks and misrepresenting me. The personal stuff doesn't even bother me that much. I mean I take it as Rob being Rob and I can't say that I haven't had a couple of moments were I attacked someone personally as well. However, I hate being misrespresented(ie the comment about Reynolds).
But yeah, on to tommorow. The great thing about baseball is you always have tommorow. A lot less time to dwell on those bad losses.
