Just got an I'm getting old feeling reading Roy Devyn Marble's name. I can remember watching his Dad, Roy Marble star at Iowa in the mid 80's. Marble was selected in the first round by the Hawks in 89' but mostly played in the CBA until his retirement in 94'.

Will probably have a smaller game thread for MD/Iowa, then we did for the O's today... but I'm kind of looking forward to tonight.

Obviously no Allen, and Aronhalt and Padgett are apparently sick.

Well, the limited bench could end up being pretty huge. The starters have to show up tonight.

Nice offensive rebound/swat by Len there... beautiful pass by Pe back into Mitchell to score the first bucket.

That's 3 absolutely horrid possessions in a row for the Terps. Have no idea what Layman was thinking there.

And Len just got posterized.

Layman needs to find the bench. Jesus he's terrible sometimes. Makes no sense.

Mitchell is horrible. Dude plays further below the rim than a 40 yr old at the local YMCA.

Blah. He's having a poor start, but that kid can play.

MD gets out 4-0, Iowa goes on 11-0 run. Len hits a jumper. 11-6, with 15:49 left in the 1st.

Yeah, Mitchell is a quality player, I like him. Needs to do some conditioning in the off-season though.

Layman is good too, but is just acting a fool tonight so far.

And now even Dez gets in on the sloppiness. Just terrible so far for the Terps.

Settle...... Down!!! It'll be alright, Geez.

My goodness guys, this isn't the Louisville press you're facing here.

On pace for about 40 turnovers, and I don't think a single one has been forced.

This game is over. Somehow, laughably, Iowa is just better with all of 2 black guys on the team. Embarrassing.

Anyone want to take this bet.

MD will not get this to within 2 possesions or 6 points the rest of the night.

BTW......they'll have real problem with Cleare and Mitchell as a starter next year. Neither are very good 5s.

Sure, I'll take it :)

Mitchell needs to get in better shape. If he wants to he can average a double double. He's pretty limited offensively but he should be able to work on that. But he needs to decide that he wants to be in shape.

Cleare I'm not sure about. The talent is there, but not sure about the skill level or the desire. Next year will be big.

Amazing they're in this game as awfully as they played. Big nod to Aronhalt for keeping them in it despite having the stomach bug.

Oh, and I don't think you'll have Cleare and Mitchell starting. Smotrycz will probably be at the 4.
