Sports on Earth: Off-season Review
http://www.sportsone...eg-hardy#!VpGoa
'Nice' off-season... None of the top 4 WR's are back (replaced with Benjamin, Cotchery, Avant).. Lost 3/4s of the Secondary, Newton ankle surgery, LT Jordon Gross retired...

This the comment I left on that article:
The Ravens had offseasons like this when they drafted Boller back in '03, ignoring pretty much everything about the offense. Of course the defense was great but they constantly ignored who Boller was throwing to and who was protecting him (except Ogden). The likes of Travis Taylor (when healthy), Frank Sanders, Marcus Robinson...these were our #1 WR back then and Boller quickly became a failed first round pick. Not that he would have been better with better receivers but why invest in your QB and then throw him to the wolves? Shame, I like Carolina and Newton. I hope to see them surprise in 2014.

Carolina leading Detroit 13-7, 8 minutes to go in the 4th.
Despite the WR issues, and the loss of their LT.... they have Newton, the RBs, and that great front 7. Holding Detroit's offense in check is an accomplishment.

It's being reported as two tranverse process fractures.

PFT says it's the same injury that both Tony Romo and the QB for Baylor had this year, and both missed a game.
Glad it's nothing too serious.

Whenever I see a car accident in fair weather, I always assume texting while driving is to blame. Does that make me judgmental?
