He doesn't owe anyone anything. Now if he wants people to pass to that's a different issue. His strategy could've backfired and I thought after the FIRST Denver game, it was going to. He proved me wrong.

I've seen many think that has no effect on Flacco since they are at different stages of their careers. That's a fair point. Bottomline, this doesn't help him, no matter how you want to paint it. The more $$$ the better players get, the more $$$ for comparative/lesser players.

Saying that is has no effect on him is the exact same as saying that it doesn't help him. It has no impact whatsover on Falcco's negotiations, so you're right, it doesn't help him. It also doesn't hurt him. It's irrelevant.

I disagree with that characterization. If Tom Brady would've gotten top dollar, it would've been good for him and all other top QBs, and other players in general. The more $$$ he gets, ups the ante for everyone.
