Gruden official. He had previously announced ownership was never on the table.

They'll fire him within three.
As frustrating as it is to be following the Ravens right now, at least we aren't the Raiders. Or the Bengals. Or the Browns. Or the Lions. Or the...

Man Gruden is pretty overrated in my book. That is just an insane contract that Mark Davis will live to regret.

Dallas gives up a first rounder for Amari Cooper.
Wow...great deal for Oakland.
People want to hammer on what Gruden is doing and obviously they need to hit on these picks but I think he is making the right moves.
I would look to move Carr to JVille if that is possible too. I think he's good but not someone you want tying up a shit ton of payroll.

Holy crap that's a bad move for the Cowboys, IMO. You really needed to give up the 1st? Couldn't talk them into the 2nd or less? I was not thinking Cooper would carry that much value, as talented as he is.

Apparently the Raiders turned down a high second round pick from a team. (EDIT: Eagles were apparently that team)
Right now, Oakland has 5 first round picks in the next 2 drafts.

Makes me think of the Cowboys trade for Roy Williams years ago. Gave up a first round pick for a former #1 receiver on the decline.

They might be building a good team for Vegas, but it sucks for Oakland fans that the team is in complete rebuild once again after so much promise two seasons ago.
