I wouldn't trade John for Jim personally. Jim's attitude is just recockulous and his onfield antics are worse. He has done nothing but win but neither has his brother. I think both are above average coaches who are greatly aided by strong front offices. But if you measure them up I think Jim's flare for the dramatics reduces his value in my eyes.
First off: recockulous. That is a great word.
Second, a flair for the dramatic is great when you are winning. If not, you're just Mike Singletary dropping trou.

Anquan Boldin re-signs with Niners
Terms of the contract have not been disclosed, but a source told ESPN NFL Insider Ed Werder that Boldin agreed to a two-year deal worth $12 million, including $9 million in guaranteed money.

Haven't you praised this Harbaugh a great deal?
He's a great pure coach. Steps ahead of his brother, but they are both asshats.

What are they doing? Gabbert for a 6th round pick?
Unless they have an extension in the works for Kaep, his salary will be $973K, Gabbert will make $2.01M.
Makes no sense. I'm a little more miffed now that apparently Boldin and Gabbert are of equal value. Think John just did Jim a favor there.

In terms of cap space, that's not enough to really affect them. I'm guessing they think being around the QB whisperer will net them a higher return on Gabbert than a sixth rounder, but I don't know if even Jim can fix what's wrong with Gabbert.

Yahoo Sports: Miami Dolphins trade OT Jonathan Martin to San Francisco 49ers
Jonathan Martin, who left the Dolphins in the wake of locker-room hazing incidents led by former teammate Richie Incognito, has been traded to the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Dolphins will receive a conditional draft pick in the deal.
Probably a good fit for him with his college coach (Jim Harbaugh).

No weeknight games for the new 49ers stadium this year (Chicago Tribune)
Katz said the NFL will not play a weeknight prime time game at the 49ers’ new stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., this season until “they figure out the traffic flow” in the area.

Here comes PD24 in T-Minus 10 seconds to tell us that it MUST just be a situation where a chick is trying to take advantage of a rich athlete after the fact.

I hope it's not true. However, he's certainly shown to be immature and have poor impulse control in the past.

BTW, does anything good ever happen in Miami? Well, for celebrities I mean? Christ, it seems like 70% of pro player crimes are in Southern Florida.

He seems like kind of a dick. When you throw in the general sense of entitlement that a lot of athletes have, stuff like this happens.

Any other players with no known criminal history, who you wouldn't be surprised if they committed an act like this?
