I really hope we use that Ray Rice draw way more often. Running out of pass formations could be huge.

Still can't believe the Broncos players let Tucker kick that ball.

Being about 11 or 12 Yuenglings in at this point of the evening, I did not even realize that Tucker did a practice kick there at the end of the 1st overtime. Of course I heard the chatter about it later, but I missed that entirely.

Just as satisfying the second time around.

Alright, I wasn't going to show this to anyone because it's obnoxious and pretty embarrassing, but I will share it with my BSL folk... don't judge.

This is me reacting to Tucker making the Field Goal. I had no idea that my friend's wife was recording me with her stupid iPhone. Warning: LANGUAGE.

You reacted a lot more calmly than my friends and I did. We had a 3-4 way group hug with lots of yelling and screaming.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I was in a room with a couple of Broncos fans and some non-fans. I went apeshit on the game-tying touchdown and more of a solemn fist pump for the FG to win it.

That was probably the 3rd happiest celebration I've ever done behind Derek Fisher's .04 shot and Kobe's game winner against Phoenix in the 2006 playoffs.

Two things about the "fling" that apparently some people aren't giving Flacco credit for.

A. He saw the safety was out of position, wasn't getting deep enough. It wasn't like he said, I'm just going to throw a jump ball. He realized the situation, realized the safety was out of position and thought he had a chance with the throw. It was good awareness to realize he had a some chance there.

B. As far as the actual physical throw itself what makes it impressive is that he had to do it not just stepping up into the pocket but almost runnning up into the pocket. He really didn;t have time to back leg it and get all his weight behind the throw. He was able to reach back and quickly get something on it but it wasn't your standard "bomb" throw where you get back on the backside and take a step or two and let it go. It was run up into open space, reach back quickly because a guy is getting ready to hit you from the side and get as much as you can on the fling. Also, Joe is running/stepping up sliight at an agle towards his left. He has to open his hips and get the ball back across his body to the right. No time to reset your feet and get your full weight going in the direction of the pass. Thats where mweb isn't realizing how difficult that throw is, thats where he doesn't realize how strong that throw was. Flacco arguably has the strongest arm in the league, if that was all he could get on the throw under those circumstances then there isn't very many others that are making that throw. You see a lot of other Qbs may have seen the safety was out of position and tried to make the throw but wouldn't have got it that far and the safety would have knocked it down or intercepted anyway even though he initially made a mistake. If the throw is more to the inside the safety still makes a play on it. Go outside and simulate throwing the ball off your back while moving running at an angle away from the direction you are going to throw it. Clearly,Joe is stepping up into the pocket towards his left and has to throw the ball back to his right. Then do it while sprinting up into the pocket, and throwing while trying to get as much on the throw as you can. You'll see not only how much shorter you throw it but most likely how much more inaccurate you are.

The throw is the perfect example of mweb underrating Flacco. Sure other factors not involving Flacco were in play. The safety botched the play the whole way but the throw itself was great as well. With mweb it's always well this defensive player could/should have made the play and there are x amount of Qbs in the league who could've thrown the ball just as well. If mweb doesn't want to respect Jaws opinion on the play then so be it but it's an "expert" and a guy who watches all the Qbs in the league and spealizes on breaking all of them down. He and Dilfer are the QB guru's an who's opinions I really respect on Qbs up at ESPN. Someone tweet Dilfer and ask him how many Qbs in the league he thinks can make that throw.

Anybody who can watch that over and over again and think more than a few Qbs could simulate that throw are fooling themselves. The replay from behnd Joe and specifucally seconds :20-:22 show you how difficult the throw was if you know anything about physics.Put me on message board wars this week and put me in the same room with mweb so I can just loop the replay over and over again from seconds :20-:22. Eventually,, he'll have understand how difficult it was to get as much as Joe got on it and throw it as accurately as he did. Especially, with the condidtions. Watching that replay over and over I think the safety got flat footed because he saw Joe moving up in the pocket at a slight angle to his left. He probably thought Joe was going to go to the inside guy or even back to one of the WRs on his left and not Jacoby on the outside because of the angle he stepped into the pocket. He got caught offguard that Joe opened his hips and threw it as far as he did back to the outside right.

ESPN: John Elway supports John Fox

I wouldn't expect Elway to publicly second guess his head coach.
