I think what he was saying is the Ravens have quit.

That is how I read it. He is entitled to his view, no matter how uninformed it is.

The funny part is, had the Ravens won on Sunday, with the backups, people would be higher on them right now.

2 wins in a row, building momentum, etc....

Exactly. Most media members feed into this concept even more than fans. Last week normally has little to do with this week.

Picking the Colts appears to be the trendy pick. Ravens favored by 6.5 according to Vegas.

Here's what it comes down to, IMO, outside of losing the turnover battle.

The Colts have a weak running game -- and they cannot stop the run. They allowed 352 yards rushing to the Chiefs a few weeks ago. Granted, they tightened up their run defense against the Texans and who can forget how the Colts defense played in 2006 when they were getting run all over and then played well in the playoffs?

So I see no reason to get cute on offense until you have to -- run Rice and Pierce down their throats until they prove that they can stop them. When you do pass, lots of PA and roll-outs. Don't let Freeney and Mathis do what they do best.

I see this being pretty close. The Colts are going to be playing for Pagano and they are a team on the rise. However, I think as long as we don't turn the ball over, we win this game 27-17.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I can't agree with this more. The Ravens are the team playing at home, with a ton of playoff experience and can see that championship window starting to close. Don't beat yourself and you advance.

Run the ball well and use play action. That will help some.

I find the coaching in this game to be intriguing...First, you have Caldwell and Pagano facing the teams they coached last year.

Then you have Arians, who has coached against us for years...and Harbaugh, who knows Pagano well and coached against Arians.

Just funny how all of this is intertwined.

I doubt all this is much of a factor but if it does come into play I would think it would make the game tighter and lower scoring.

Well, it means there should be a lack of surprises, coaching wise.

However, we may have the advantage if Caldwell calls the game like he did vs the Giants...Indy just isn't as prepared for that.
