Britt confirms that it's a one year deal. Wonder if there's an option?

That would be good, he brought an element we did not have.
Reimold/Mclouth could be formidable.

I'm guessing it's 3M plus some incentives based on games played. I would have preferred some kind of club option for 2014 in case McLouth puts up a nice year but a one year deal is better than no deal at all.

Could also be a disaster.

We are forming the all question mark team....hopefully those questions will be answered positively.

Me too, but Nate wanted to keep it at one year and try for a multi year deal next season.

Pretty happy with a one-year deal for him. Hope it's for an amount that we're comfortable making him a 4th OF or platoon guy if a bigger fish comes along in the outfield. Anything at about $3M or under base and I'll think it's a really smart deal.

I'm fine with Nate coming back. I'm not sold on Reimold staying healthy and I really like his defense in LF. If Reimold can stay healthy and contribute allowing Nate to split time in LF and spell Jones and Nick in CF and RF on occasion even better.

No option according to Connolly.

Depending on the dollars, I'm happy to have Nate back. I think he will likely be productive next year.

Really do not see it being a disaster, but kind of agree that we have too many maybe's but I think that some of the guys are as likely to come through as fall apart.

You can not just assume all the good from last year was a fluke.

Could be a heck of a bargain this year. The only real risk is that he puts up a good year and walks. 2M is peanuts.

Bargain. Nicely done. Good story too, his career has risen up from the ashes.

Yep, by my loose count, that leaves them around 18m to spend still on a 1B/DH and a veteran SP without having to move any salary.

Yeah, I expect a good year and him to do just that for a 3 year deal somewhere as a 32 year old, but it's great for the O's for 2013.
