Johnson went 2 ip today, allowing 1 hit, 1 bb, while striking out 3.
Jump on the Steve Johnson bandwagon before it's too late! Yes, that means you SG!

It's a shame Lance shot a little to high, or low depending on how you view it, with his bet. He may have shot himself in the foot with the under 4.00 thing. I do think Steve can post a sub 4.30 ERA over 15 starts and SG probably would have taken that bet too.

Tossed four innings today in an extended spring training game in Fort Myers, throwing 70 pitches and withstanding a line drive off his thigh. The Orioles will send Johnson on a rehab assignment, with the affiliate to be determined. He's finally getting out of Florida. Johnson will be a starter during his assignment. No relief work, though he came out of the bullpen today. There's a good chance that Johnson will join Triple-A Norfolk and make a start in Charlotte. Manager Buck Showalter brought up that possibility today. Sounds like a plan.

Steve Johnson outrighted: http://www.masnsport...to-norfolk.html
He's technically a free agent, but Roch says the Orioles are trying to resign him.

I think he's good enough to pitch in the bigs... but it's starting to look like the O's think he's not good enough for the O's...
