Bone headed base running by Santander.  But hey, 2 runs is 2 runs.

Cowser SB pays off immediately! Nice job by him and Mountcastle.

You love to see it.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I saw what he saw, which was the base uncovered. He just didn't realize that Volpe was close enough and is fast enough to get it covered before he could get there. As far as 1st outs at third base go, it isn't the worst attempt. Still, the very best intentioned first out at 3rd remains a bad play.

As I said weeks ago my key guy coming back was Westburg. Such a good ballplayer all around.

My current favorite. May be the glue guy. Love him.

The Yankees defense is really butchering the inning.  Love it!

He had the play in front of him and you never run into an out at third but I see what you're saying.

He's an infielder originally. Haven't heard anything negative about his defense since being traded, though haven't really been listening.

Could have gotten more than 3 runs but it's a good start.

Could've been more but also could've been less, maybe just one, if Cowser's ball is caught like it should've been and then the Yankees are at double play depth for Mountcastle's grounder up the middle.
