Brutal. In multiple ways
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

If they limp in and then flame out how does Hyde survive?

Gotta confess, I checked out weeks ago as far as watching games and pretty much just look at the scores later. It's just too frustrating to watch them underperform the way they have the past 3 months, and games like this leave me with no regrets. I'll be back for any playoff games, but TGIF...thank god it's football (season).

Just incredibly frustrating. I legit don’t know what happened. It doesn’t make any sense. I tend to not think it’s Occam’s razor (just a slump/league adjusting, etc).
It will be interesting to see what, if anything, comes out if this deep slide continues.

The SP has been really good 4 out of the last 5 games. Only Povich wasn't good. We lost 3 of those 4 games.

Wouldn't be surprised if they keep Hyde but shuffle the coaching staff on the offensive side even if whoever else they bring in is still gonna follow a similar philosophy I'd assume

The good news tonight is that we were only bad and not historically bad.

I still can't wrap my head around this offense disappearing for the last 2.5 months. Feels like an eternity ago when were anointing Gunnar as the MVP.
Feels like our "can't miss guys" are missing left and right and have become who they are at this point.
Maybe they bust out of this slump or whatever it is but like others have said this feels like something more than just not being good at baseball. These guys are good. Maybe not great but not this bad.
It's absolutely confounding.

And last night was as rawkus as that stadium is going to get anytime soon. Maybe they should just turn it into a concert venue.
