I don't think Bradfield gets you even halfway there.  Doyle has huge home/road splits, but historically that hasn't backed off the price of trying to acquire Colorado hitters all that much.

These were my first thoughts as well.

I don't mind him as a target, but the price is significantly more than Bradfield even with the home / road splits.

If Mullins isn't the CF next year, I'm pretty sure it will be Cowser.

If you try and find a cheaper CF, they are probably basically what Mullins already is.

If Cowser is in CF, and you want another LF... there would probably be obtainable options...  albeit you have to factor in Waltimore, and have a LF that actually go and get it.

I dont particularly want to part with Bradfield anyway. I get Doyle is already a productive MLer and Bradfield may never be more than a 4th OFer in the show. Still not particularly fond of moving him. If he clicks its what Id love in a CFer

I have enough things to worry about in my life. Adding the solution to the problems this team has is beyond my pay scale.

I don't want to tell you how to live your life, but your response could have been....Brenton Doyle?

I don't know the first thing about him nor do I care. I trust Elias will go into 2025 with a decent centerfielder if Mullins is gone.

I was pointing him out because we are playing the Rox this weekend.

Don't worry about it. I'm sure most people on here knew that's why you started the thread. Its just another pointless remark to prove what a prick he is.

He's not tradable at this point I think, the question is if he's tendered. I'm not looking for comps right now but I assume you're looking at 10M next year and no one is going to trade for that unless they think he's a full time starter, and I don't know if anyone can look at his splits and think that.

Other than cost he certainly has a place as at least platoon CF or 4th OF, with perhaps more if he shows more, but I didn't realize how bad his savant page was till Balt Bird said something.

I think there are a lot of places that would love to have Ced.  I think many teams would view his situation as buy low and expect (hope for) better results.

Braves, Royals, Dodgers, Phillies, Pirates would all make sense.

I watch a lot of teams and while I haven't watched a ton of the Rox, I've seen my share of highlights from the guy.

I like him as an option regardless of where he's from, but he's also a NOVA region (Warrenton VA, W-SW of DC) kid.

I agree that a number of teams would buy low but that probably doesn’t involve paying him 10M. And if it does then we’d be getting back almost nothing.

You've definitely watched more of the Rockies than I have, which is zero.  I'll take your word for it.
