Its not that the offense doesnt have issues. We all know they arent perfect. They will have stretches where they suck. This is where Im so annoyed by the lack of clean play defensively. The brainfarts. Give yourself a chance doing the little things. The smart things. This game was never going our way. Last night could have gone our way though. We lost that shit because we were sloppy.

I have to listen to a complete donkey around these parts try to sell that its just physical mistakes and this lack of preperation and blase style of baseball has zero to do with the coaches

Never said any of that. Apparently your reading comprehension is just as bad as your other mental handicaps. Well, as long as you have your suck up buddy to agree with you, I guess you’re all good. Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good cry.

Holliday completely botched that play earlier where he jogged the runner back to 1B while looking over his shoulder at 3B. Yes, you need to keep the runner at 3B honest, but if he's not heading back to the bag, then THROW THE BALL TO ADLEY, cuz O'Hearn wasn't making himself available by stepping out of the baseline to relay the ball to the plate himself. It should be 4-3 LA, cuz that run was entirely on Jackson.

He had no idea what he was supposed to do right there and then he hit the guy in the back.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

He was definitely overmatched to the situation. I don't think O'Hearn did him any favors though (in Ryan's defense, he expected Jackson to throw it to the plate).

How many rundowns have they botched in the last month or so. I remember at least 3 and Ive missed some games. Its ridiculous.

Rundowns should be about constriction, with the recipient of the next catch at the ready to go to an advanced base if need be. They only last long if the IF doesn't execute properly.

His OPS was over 1.000 in June. It's like .900 now.

I know Adley's hurt and O'Hearn is a one-dimensional hitter. But Gunnar's struggles should sound alarms in the front office as to the direction the coaches are providing.

Im convinced the have plateaued under this manager/coaching staff.
