For those of us who can get testy and negative during a game thread, here's a dose of perspective for you.  On this date in 2018, the Orioles blew a 3rd inning, 8-3 lead to the Red Sox at Camden Yards, enroute to a 19-12 thrashing.  With 46 games left in the season, the Orioles fall to 46 1/2 behind, mathematically eliminating them on the earliest date in history.  It was also matched by two other horrible teams, including the 1962 Mets, but it was the earliest of the divisional era.  Dylan Bundy had the honor of starting the game.
