I heard social media is all up in arms about this.
Another example why the stupidest fucking people on the planet are on social media all day long.

Typical Joe.
They asked him a question and he gave an honest and IMO a correct answer.
Had they not identified who the comments had come from, pretty sure I would have guessed Joe.

I never pictured Flacco willingly accepting the role of the itinerant journeyman.

Good luck to him.

If he's happy with it then good for him. He'd certainly be a decent insurance policy for a good team. I'd rather have to call on him for a week or two than someone like Matt Barkley. Playing behind Stafford or Ryan or Darnold or Garoppolo might be good fits.

Probably the end of the line for him. He said he wants to play but he's pretty washed up.
Denver to release Flacco.

If Joe can get cleared physically someone will pick him up as a back up.
He fits in Pittsburgh and maybe even New England, which would sicken me.

NE is exactly what I thought when I saw Denver was releasing him. But, it would have to be as a back-up because Dalton, Newton, Winston, etc are better than him at this point.
I suspect he'll catch on somewhere if he wants to stick around.

Am I crazy to think a healthy Joe could still help a team as a starter?

The injuries have taken their toll. Even if hes feeling good he doesnt bring anything to the table. Hes very immobile now and he doesn't have the ability to accurately threaten the middle to deep parts of the field.

I would guess that he could be a back up and come in and win a game here or there but overall, he’s probably done.
