Rangers feed (MLBTV) just said that Gunnar is the first SS in MLB history with 28 HRs at the ASB...is that possible?

I believe it. There were questions earlier this season of him possibly having the best SS season ever. Think he's cooled off slightly, but not many SS have had seasons like this ever. Will be fun to watch how he finishes the season.

Ben Wagner (MASN) said the same thing during his first AB.

Since we're using Patrick Corbin as a measuring stick for performance....
Burnes (6 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 4 BB, 6 K) had only a slightly worse start tonight than Patrick Corbin (6IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K).

Good Win coming out of the break. No luck here. Put a W-streak together.

A-Rod had 27 once and Ernie Banks 26. A-Rod had 30 but after he moved to 3rd. Didn’t look at anyone else.

Bats came alive, a couple of defensive gems from Gunnar and Mateo, and six innings from Burnes. Good way to start the second half. Let's bury these guys this weekend and maybe they'll be more willing to sell some of their seven pending free agent pitchers.
