100%. Yanks threw at us 4 times after Judge was accidently hit. Did nothing there either. Just isnt the guy and its obvious. Hes just along for whatever ride the players take him on.

Just so I understand, if Hyde wasn't manager, the Orioles would have scored more than 8 runs off their 16 hits?

While the pitching was bad, Orioles are waaay too reliant on home runs to score.

That's just who they are and that's not going to change.  But how can you argue with the results and where they stand statistically in league rankings?  They are reliant on homeruns but they lead baseball in that department.  If they weren't hitting them, then yeah, it would be a problem.

The 1997 Orioles had losing streaks of four and six games. The 1983 Orioles had two seven-game losing streaks.

Regression to the mean. It happens over the course of 162 games.

For sure. But I think the concern here is the how we are losing. We have 3 starters going every 5 days who realistically should not be starting on a WS hopeful team. Sure every team has their back end guys. We have 3 of them at the moment. Gotta hope Kremer comes back next week and is better than this.

They weren't so reliant last year.  And it's not like they can't hit non-homeruns, 11 of the 16 hits last night weren't homeruns.  I just wish they'd score more when they have opportunities.

The results are good, but I remember what happened in 2012 and 2014 in the postseason.

I hear what you're saying but like I said, that's who they are and its probably not going to change. For good and bad. And lets hope the good arrives come playoff time.
