Great. Facing a pitcher with 8 career starts....at AA. We all know what happens when we see these guys. Bats turn into pumpkins and every body thinks the guys the second coming of Cy Young.

Maybe we continue to pound like yesterday!

The thing to watch for is a major hangover from yesterday. The 17 runs were great but its tiring in a good way. I don't expect another offensive explosion. I think they be a little run down and hopefully grind out a win.

No chance they score more than 5 tonight after yesterday, plus the flight.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Thank God we don't have to face Tucker this series.

So Cowser earns another night off. O'Hearn in LF. I guess they plan on winning tonight by several runs, lest you run the risk of losing his bat for a defensive replacement.

I get giving Hays ABs to get him going, because at least he's comparable to Cowser in the field.

Wash, Rinse & Repeat.

I wonder if hes sore after the HBP on Wed. I suspect that may play a part

Of course it could also be because he has mostly been a bad hitter the last 7 weeks.

Maybe. He was a defensive replacement after the Yankees waved the white flag yesterday. He even chatted up a Yankee fan who I think joked that Cowser stole his catch (when he caught a ball reaching into the stands in front of the guy).

You're probably right. Curious if he was going to be PH if he came up in the 9th when the Yankees had their soft tossing catcher on the mound.

I believe I read that he didn’t start yesterday because of that.

Hays has a 924 OPS since he came back from the IL. No problem with him getting time. No reason O’Hearn needs to play OF.

He does have an excellent minor league ERA but how that will translate to this level is anyone's guess.

Westburg with yet another gaffe. He let the ball play him instead of charging it.

Braves lead the Yankees in a pitcher's duel, 8-1 in the top of the 4th.

You'd think McCann would have a better idea of where to frame a pitch for this Altuve guy.

Maybe he's never heard of him?

The Orioles are a more complete team than the Yankees. The O's WILL win the division by at least 4 games, and I suspect it'll be 6+.
