F Philly. Id really like to see Burnes stand up for his superstar and brush back Schwarber or Harper today. I dont care if yesterday was intentional or not you cant be throwing that high and in at Gunnar Henderson and get away unscathed. This team has to show that they have an edge. Should be directed by Hyde but I dont think he has that in him.

I said in the last game thread when Burnes started that they need to ensure Adley is catching. No way you want to go to the playoffs with your best starter having to use your backup catcher. Horrible roster management to do that.

Surprising but good to see. Adley has to catch him some. Days like today against Wheeler you have to have your best lineup out there.

I don't think the pitch to Gunnar was intentional.  Just trying to knock him off the plate which used to be very common and expected.  It's almost surprising that pitchers have dominated like they have when they really can't pitch inside anymore.  Umpires and hitters won't allow it without the result being charged on the mound or thrown out of the game.  So, if you do see some chin music, I doubt it's deliberate.  Just a pitch that got away.  Also, most hitters today stand so far off the plate that you really have to be wild to hit someone.

Finally an off day tomorrow. Hopefully a big start from Burnes today and more rest for the bullpen.

Burnes is totally careless in regards to the running game and its annoying AF. That never should have been a spot where they have two in scoring position

I never understand the focus on a runner when you had already gotten 2 quick outs. Just get the batter and head to the dugout.
