Set aside the fact you're taking Mullins out of the game (best defensive CF on the team) in a close & late situation. I'm saying Hays didn't look right during his ABs and in the field. So, yeah, if there's something wrong with Hays, then yes, the move might've been a bad one regardless of outcome.
