We all know Bassitt isn't actually a 5-ERA guy.  He's not Gallen, but he's got a long history of being quite good.  Hope to take advantage of him while he's been struggling, and like Baltbird said the O's hit him well last season.

But he is definitely regressing at 35 years old. Probably a 3.90-4.40 ERA guy at this point.

Haven't seen him pitch or looked into peripheral stuff, but I would be very hesitant to say "definitely regressing". I'd take the under on 3.90 the rest of the way.

Wonder why no DH tomorrow with the early start time? Guess they're expecting crappy weather tomorrow as well.

Trade deadline is July 30. The pair of new, high octane late inning arms will arrive in time for the 2nd game on the 29th.

Entering a world of pain schedule wise. July 29 isn't much better, but it's a little better. I'd have gone with tomorrow, too, but maybe there are rules about DH before a travel day when the team is returning? I've never seen a list of the goals and constraints for scheduling a DH.
