10-1 with a 2.98 ERA. Actually surprised his ERA is that high. Need a big game from Burnes.

Look forward to the Burnes hot takes that are surely to come if he doesnt throw a perfect game
Real aces don't allow any runs, jackass.

The amount of pearl-clutching that some of y'all do when your words aren't taken as direct quotes is in severe conflict with the way you blatantly twist the words of others.

Be nice to get him some runs this time.

Yeah, it would be nice, but it seems like it's always a grind. I expect that pretty much every game now and if the offense does put 5+ runs, it's a gift.

I rarely participate in game threads, have people actually been critical of Burnes?
Good news! I saw a dog today.

Yes, I have.
The strikeouts are down, he appears less dominant, and getting through the 6th has been a struggle. I think he's more of a good #2 than an ace at this point.
Some of these clowns think that means I said he's trash.

It's a shame you can't post an opinion without certain people taking everything personally. It's so ridiculous. This forum is pretty loose in what it tolerates and that's the root of the problem.

Smart for his future, though.

I'm just disappointed that he apparently abandoned his best pitch, the sweeper, in order to save his arm for free agency. Sucks we only get very good Corbin Burnes instead of great Corbin Burnes. Still a staff anchor, however.
Smart for his future, though.
I don't know how Hyde or Elias would tolerate that if that's in fact, what he's doing. That's like a receiver for the Ravens saying he won't do crossing patterns for fear of getting decked by a linebacker.

I missed his last 2 starts, but it looks like he went 6+ and gave up 3 runs or less. I'll take that. But I'm back home and will be tuning in for tonight's game. His WHIP is a sub 1, I'm sticking with the title of ace. To add to what jamesdean posted, there are some fool on this board who seem to have a person mission of always including an insult of some kind.
Good news! I saw a dog today.

What can Hyde or Elias do about it?
It's his arm and his career.

Not expecting a ton of offense. Berrios has always owned us. Should be a low scoring game on both sides.
Definitely has that feel.
