Here's Tom Boswell on the Nats. I haven't really been following them, but apparently they have a ton of comeback wins this year, and are better than I'd thought - they're 50-50 over their last 100 games. They steal a lot, too,
According to Boswell, they don't have a left hander in the bullpen, so that should help the O's.

I've come to the conclusion that regardless of who they play, the pitching opposition is going to be tough and most games are going to be a grind. Games like Sunday might happen a couple of times a month. Most are going to be close with the Orioles hopefully being consistent on the mound and scoring just enough to win most games. Its not good for the nervous system but that's how I see it. The Washington series won't be any different.
The O's have the 3rd highest run total and have allowed the 5th fewest runs. It's still baseball, so most of the games will be close and can lose any given night as difference between the worst teams and best teams is relatively small, but we should be going into every game with a very high level of confidence.

Sure, be confident but most of their wins will be a grind. Same goes for everyone else too. The Dodgers will probably have the most blowout wins over the course of the season.

If we swapped Mateo or Mayo for Urias it might be our best lineup. But I said Santander needed to sit and look what he did. So today I put the reverse hex on Urias....lol...

Long term I still trust Urias more than Mateo, but given the recent production of both I'd agree Mateo is at least an equal option vs RHP and clearly a superior option vs RHP. Mayo or Norby likely better than both with the bat, but also certainly would be defensive downgrades, though how much is debatable.

I wish Mullins would start to produce something more than an anemic .200 batting average. He's really turning into a major hole in the line-up.

Gunnar on a bit of a cold streak here. Two off days this week, so wouldn't ask for a day off, do think sometime in mid- or late-May would be a good idea as there is a schedule grind coming up that lasts through June.
Nobody is really hitting all that well at the moment. Adley's been very consistent.

God I hate it when Melanie Newman calls play by play. Horrible.
Put the Nationals channel on.

Put the Nationals channel on.
That's funny. I didn't think about that.

I'm glad it's not just me.
She's good in the studio, awful play by play.
That kid who did a half inning last week is better.
