Would really like to just dominate the A's all weekend. Three non-save opportunity wins. Also let's get two multi-hit games for Holliday.

Taking 2 of 3 would be acceptable but against the A's, you have to be hoping for a sweep.  Take care of the 1st game and go from there.

They've been a terrible offensive team, but we get their 3 best SP. Sears is tough and their defacto ace. Blackburn has been solid. Stripling has been solid over his career as well.

Just keep winning series.

The A's have been more competitive than I thought heading into the season. I figured they'd be going through a White Sox-type futility at this point.

Oakland has a team OPS of .615, which is horrible, but still miles better than Chicago's .555 team OPS.

It's almost incomprehensible for a team to be as bad offensively as the White Sox.

5 teams have finished between 626 and 637 in the past 20 seasons.  Both teams are off to historically bad starts, though of course you expect to see much more variance in a month than over six months.

Burnes really hasn't been that great outside of his opening day start. His strikeout numbers have been good but not great. He's not exactly devouring innings. He's been good, but he's fallen below my expectations.

Burnes isnt throwing the sweeper which was his best pitch last year. Trying to save his arm for FA. That leaves him with his cutter which is a great pitch but everything else is avg. He is a bulldog which is great but still if hes essentially only going to have the cutter as a good to great pitch I wouldnt be betting on a CY level year. Prob more in line with the 1st half he had last year.

I have a feeling he’s gonna break it out down the stretch and into the playoffs.

A's aren't good at all and are down their best offensive player. Burnes should have a good night.

I'm starting him in fantasy tonight, so I expect a 3 inning, 14 hit, 9 ER typer performance.

Hate when the sound isn't synced with the video. Minor annoyance.

Burnes should think about using that sweeper again.

How in the hell does he give up so many Homer's in the first inning?
