There's not much you can do when your starters don't show up. Kremer didn't have it today. What can you do?

Its known Hyde isnt a good manager of the pen. Not does he have a great feel for game flow. I aint all up in hia arse like last year but dont let that fool any of you into thinking Ive changed my opinion
I'm not a big "blame the manager" guy, but Hyde letting Kremer stay in after the game was tied (if not yanking him after the double with a lead) was a horrible decision and directly influenced this game negatively. Hopefully will pick him up, but it was a brutally bad decision that immediately hurt the team. His first major blunder of the year in my estimation. No idea what he was thinking with a mostly fresh pen and Burnes due tomorrow.

I'm curious why Kremer’s pitch mix was a total 180 from the Pittsburgh game in which he was highly effective. McCann(‘t hit) caught him both games, too.
I still generally trust Wells enough. Irvin and Kremer are chores man. Especially Irvin but Kremer can be very disgusting too

Wondering if I was too optimistic at 91 wins.

Bullpen sucks. Defense sucks. Offense outside of Cowser and Westburg is mediocre.

I felt 88 wins was too optimistic due to the fact the O's skipped much needed SP while having two of their five SPs out of commission.
Any rotation that has Kremer and Wells will have a taxed BP. And then there's Cole Irvin.
Oh, and the BP needed help, beyond a new closer.

Ideally Kremer is your 5th starter, Wells is in the BP, and Irvin is a LOOGY.

Probably scouting. I guess they felt the hard stuff would be more effective against Brewers hitters. If that's the case, you see how well that went. If it were me, I'd be throwing nothing but slop to them.

Hoskins, Contreras, Ademas are all punks.

They'll still win 90+ assuming no major injuries, but they definitely need a healthy Bradish and Means.

I'm a little disappointed in the overall offense and fielding. I guess I should be more perturbed with the pitching but until this series, they've been solid.

Not many good numbers in the offense outside of Cowser, Mountcastle, Westburg.
Gunnar, Adley, especially Santander at the top and all struggling to an extent. Santander in particular is in pop out mode.

Avoid the sweep.

Hopefully, Burns can stop the bleeding. It would be pretty embarrassing to be swept by the Brewers at home.
