I think 30 would be a career year for him. At least with the stadium configurations the way they are now

Agreed. Will be mostly ~20 but he has 30 HR upside. I mean he just hit one 460 feet a couple days ago.

Keith Law predicts they go 92-70, win the division, and lose to the Braves in the World Series. He also picks Adley as AL MVP.

You don't like the lineup? The same lineup won 101 games last year and this one should be better.

I don't like the bullpen and the SP (outside Burnes) is iffy.  I like Gunnar a lot, and Adley next, Santander is steady, but the other bats don't really strike fear (we'll see if Westburg belongs).  I cant trust Mullins to be at his level 3 years ago, I hope I am wrong, and Cedric has an All-star year.

I suppose that's a defensible glass-half-empty take.

I think the SP will be no worse than last year on paper and very likely better. I believe Bradish and Means will return and give us something as well (even 100 innings apiece would be excellent).

As for the lineup, I expect Westburg to be fine and I expect Holliday to eventually rake. All the big pieces last year are still here, with far more MLB-ready talent (Holliday, Mayo, Norby, Kjerstad, etc.) ready to be promoted at any time should they need it. I don't see how it's worse than last year.

I won't argue the BP is weaker, but I don't think that's worth 13ish games.

I guess we'll see.

97-65, second or maybe third in AL East standings, and a relatively short postseason.

But if they improve bullpen (and they will, I think) U could see100 wins and the WS. Starting rotation potentially very good if Bradish and Means return and pitch to form.

97 wins probably wins the division.  At any rate, it certainly unlikely that it only places you 3rd.

97 wins and a 3rd place finish? How good is this division? I guess one of the best ever.

it's 2 games vs the Angles, but the most impressive was G-Rod and his changeup.  Like Corbin, if he can command that pitch regularly, then that will be 2 TORs for the O's.

The key is getting ahead in the count.  If they get you in a hole, they're pretty much unhittable.  Both have great stuff overall.  The big question with GRod is can he consistently command it?

The Angels couldn't do anything with Grayson's change up even when they knew it was coming. He was able to absolutely toy with our old buddy Aaron Hicks.
