Also think Gunnar pushes hard for MVP. Whether he wins it who knows. Can be subjective. Lets say a top 3 finish

Won’t care until they show me they can win in the playoffs.

We are better than last year but that isn't always reflected in wins, especially without Felix. I'm thinking around 95-67.

I'll say 92-95 wins.  A lot has to go right to win 100 games but they'll be close.  Then again, they have to stay relatively healthy to pull that off.

Can we wait until mid May and see if Means and/or Bradish are going to be able to pitch?

92-70

Fall Projection:

Second in ALE.

Win WC matchup.

Win ALDS

Win ALCS

Then we'll see.

94 wins, enough to win the division.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I think some of y'all are being pretty conservative with your estimates. There's going to be some regression, but 10+ games worth with an objectively better lineup and adding a true ace?

I agree they are better. Pythagorean was 94 last year. If I recall correctly the hitting was especially timely and the bullpen was generally very good at protecting leads. I think either or both of those could be worse just due to randomness, and plus no Felix. Also adding an ace could be a wash if Bradish is out longer term or loses effectiveness. For me, teams just don’t win 105 games that often so expecting to have better results than last year is just asking to be disappointed, so I’ve tempered expectations. I wouldn’t really be shocked by 90 or over 100 wins. 80some would be surprising.

Burnes is somewhat mitigated by losing Bradish for who knows how long. BP is a question mark. I see a big variation for them: they could be good or they could be awful. Really depends on Kimbrel and Cano.

I agree, offense should be good. Probably about the same as last year.

This is really a response to you and NMS, but it sounds like they're expecting Bradish back earlier than later. We'll certainly see, but even if he goes down for the year, it's fair to assume Burnes will be better than Bradish was last year, and that they'll get better contributions from Grayson as well.

I'm not saying they'll will 100+, but I think this is a better team overall than last year, and don't expect a massive regression.

A better overall team but no Bautista. Winning over 90 games is a great season. Winning over 100 is mostly luck on top of being very good but that doesn't happen that often.

Don't think they'll win 100 again, but should be a very enjoyable season. I'll take the over 90.
