Norfolk on a 7 game losing streak I believe. Under .500. Obviously the "prospects" their are still performing well but I always found it funny some of the hyperbole of how good they were and how well they could compete in MLB. Yeah, theyd be the worst team in MLB. Shout out to the WhiteSox though. Looking like they would make it fight

Slow start to the year for Basallo. Wonder if tbe elbow is affecting him?

Certainly possible. Maybe a power sap in particular. The BA isnt that bad but only 1 XBH. No walks and 11 Ks in 35 ABs. Obviously very young and its very early in season but def a poor start.


We also have to remember that he only had 16 PAs in AA last year. He was good in those 16 PAs but such a SSS. Maybe this jump was a really big one for him. In the SSS at AA we have seen his walk rate drop off huge from A ball levels. Next few months will paint a clearer picture though again he does have the injury hanging over him a bit.
