Apparently Keith Cavanaugh thinks Reese is staying at Maryland, and Rodney Rice will be transferring in. Based on his track record, you can probably assume the opposite will happen.

Some significant buzz about Gillespie, sounds like there’s a decent chance he’s added soon.Maryland has reportedly also met with Ja'Kobi Gillespie (Belmont).

Watching all the tournament games....another reminder that not only does the skill need to improve, but the athleticism needs a real bump too.
Martinez playing so well bummed me out. I was expecting him to start this year and was excited about him. One of the few transfers recently that really bugged me. Moreso than Hart or Morsell.

Always weary of guys who come from smaller schools, but I guess we did get Jahmir from Charlotte.
The goal with transfers from smaller schools should be to challenge current rostered players for minutes. Not be a panacea / replacement for departed players.
Then again, Cam Spencer averages over 32 mpg for UConn. His career arc has been Loyal MD (3 seasons), Rutgers, UConn.

So what's the background on Rice? He missed the first half of his freshman year then left the team and didn't play at all this past season. Why? He'll have 3 years of eligibility left?

Players on MD's current roster:
Guards: Harris-Smith, Rice, Palmer, Stephens
Wings: Kaiser,
Bigs: Reese, Queen, Traore, Pierce
*I haven't heard anything about Long and Geronimo... I'm assuming neither are coming back.
Zack, have you heard anything there?

My understanding is that both are still expected to transfer. Long’s situation with his knee could change his plans, though.*I haven't heard anything about Long and Geronimo... I'm assuming neither are coming back.

Seems like Reese will come down to money. If they can get that right, he likely stays.
