If they havent cancelled it by early morning I think its gonna be a go. OD is obviously an event and they realize that. They dont want people coming out and pulling the carpet out from under them at even 12pm. Let alone closer to game time.

They're pretty reliably good at weather decisions, hopefully they'll make a decision that allows for maximum opening day activities and fun. Should be insane coming off a division title, 100 wins and new owner. Sad I won't be there, but excited just to watch with a few buddies.

I think if they think delays are potentially in the cards they will just call it. Looking at the radar it seems the rain for the forseeable future is staying just east enough of the city.

OD is always fun and there is a ton of energy. But with new ownership getting done and the expectations where they are it should be electric.  Those of you that are going soak it all in and enjoy the hell out of it. Make it as electric as I expect it to be.

Leave it to the Orioles to take what should be the most exciting OD of my lifetime and make it a stressful annoyance since they didn’t move the game to Friday. So tomorrow I’ll take off work to stand in rain and wait around for a game that probably doesn’t start until 7 pm. Nonsense. When they could have easily moved it back to Friday where there’s no rain in forecast.

I’m debating selling these things because i went through hell with rain games last Ravens season and taking work off for that isn’t what I want to do. There’s still a part of me that hopes the game gets pushed to Friday although that looks highly unlikely now.

This is why I haven’t been to OD in ten years. The weather rarely cooperates. And now the team doesn’t cooperate either.
