Ill be surprised if Edwards is back. I believe Hill is still under contract. Mitchell obviously is. I expect them to go get a FA back and probably draft one as well

What's best case scenario for Mitchell? Mid-season? He had rare explosiveness that we barely even saw from Dobbins.

I wouldn't mind seeing them take a flyer on a JK reunion, although that ship has probably sailed and even then you couldn't count on much from him.

Does seem like you can find decent RB talent mid to late draft. Ravens usually do a good job finding under the radar talent. Edwards and Mitchell both undrafted FAs. Ty'son Williams another guy with explosiveness who averaged over 5 YPC but never got a real chance.

I never heard a timetable for Mitchell. I was assuming he would be good for training camp. If there is uncertaintly there they def willbe finding 2 other guys through FA/draft. Maybe a trade but that seems less likely.

Best case is usually 9 months, so end of camp. For RBs it often takes longer, Gus and Dobbins weren't ready to start 2022 and they got injured 3+ months before Mitchell did.

I wouldn't count on him at all. I wouldn't be looking for a speed back, Hill can fill in that role until Mitchell is back, but I'd definitely find someone who we are comfortable giving 10+ carries a game until at least mid season. Maybe that's Gus. Maybe that's a FA. Maybe that's a draft pick. I don't think it's Hill.

Yeah I cant count on Mitchell then. Just hope. You need 2 guys minimum in some combination. Even if the second guy is another late season or PS guy like Gordon or Cook were this year. I still think they will make a play for Henry if the price is right

I don't know why they never gave Hill more of a chance. He's fast, explosive, he's a much better receiver than Edwards, he developed into a pretty good blocker.

Monken pulled a Roman. I had such hope.

A lot of mesh point fumbles for some reason. And I'd imagine stuff the fans don't see in practice or during film sessions. I think it's ultimately that he's just not that great. He's a good depth guy. He's good to have for a change of pace, spot start. But not a 15+ touch guy.
