It is really tough to get a list of just 10. What a great era of Oriole Baseball!

Man the memories of getting to see every one of those guys.

No Ellie Hendricks or Pete Richert? Did they have to start their careers with the Orioles as early as 1964 in order to be eligible?

Is Frank Robinson on the list?

Is Frank Robinson on the list?
Yep, answered my own question.

I had the same thought.
I could remember highlights from every one of the entries.
Some of my favorite players of all time on that group.

I thought Elrod was a noticeable omission. He would not have made my top 2, but was worth consideration.
Richert was a tough as nails reliever, probably deserved to be on the list too. Maybe even the guy who replaced him, Grant Jackson.

Milt Pappas as well. Had two very good years for the Orioles before being shipped out in 1966 for some guy named Robinson.

My 10 and it was tough
Don Baylor- we should have kept Groove instead of Reggie.
Paul Blair-the best defensive centerfielder that I ever saw. No one tracked a ball better than Blair.
Don Buford- came as a 2b-3b player and became a good left fielder and great leadoff hitter.
Mike Cuellar-maybe the best left handed starter the Orioles ever had.
Dave McNally - if not Cuellar then McNally was the best.
John Wesley "Boog" Powell. Great first baseman, who was the muscle in the Orioles lineup. I can still hear some of his towering shots clanging off the bleachers in right field. I got to have dinner with him a few years ago. A nice man, who can tell some stories.
Brooks Robinson- no explanation needed.
Frank Robinson- same as Brooks.
Earl Weaver-There probably should be a seperate vote for coaches and Managers, but since there is not, Earl is an easy vote
Mark Belanger- I had Aparicio on the list but the Blade was an incredible shortstop. I like to say Ozzie Smith without the backflips.
