The loss in Buffalo knocked him down the pecking order

They are treating the MVP race like the polls in college football. Have your worst game early and you best game late. Ignore the entire body of work?

One could argue that Josh Allen is as important to the Bills, but the turnovers have been detrimental to them so there's that.  If I was voting now, I'd give it to McCaffrey.  As good of a season as Hill has had, I just can't see giving a receiver MVP.

Yeah, I think the turnovers ultimately eliminate him.  He's a solid, multi-faceted quarterback but the Bills have had a up and down season and he's been a major contributor to the lack of consistency.  Maybe MVP is in his future but not 2023.

I think if the Ravens win Sunday, the award is Lamar's and I also think he may care less than I do.

I think he'll appreciate it because, like any professional athlete, he has an ego too.  But without a Super Bowl ring, I agree the MVP award will end up feeling empty to him.
