They should cross their fingers to get Oregon State in LV. No coach and once the transfer portal opens up they'll probably have to hold walk-on tryouts to have enough players to field a team.

Shades of Virginia Tech in NYC two years ago.

I'd like the best opponent they can get.
I've seen Kansas and Utah mentioned.

Kansas might be in a similar situation assuming Leipold leaves for a new job.

He does still have another year of eligibility if he wants to use it, so I guess it means he won't hit the transfer portal....though as a graduate he's not beholden to the windows, so he could still transfer any time after the bowl.

If I'm doing my math correctly, this was his final year. He played in five games at Alabama during his freshman year, so wasn't eligible to redshirt. Throw out 2020 and he played out his second (2021), third (2022), and fourth (2023) years.

Unless there was some weird rule where if you play four or fewer games in 2020 you could get two extra years?

Ah, was not aware he burned a season of eligibility at Alabama. That sucks for him, just one game over the limit.

Nice game by the Terps and coach Lox! They played with focus, motivation, intensity and easily dispatched Rutgers, as they should have.  Lia is the all-time BIG passing yards leader - congrats!  More importantly, they won and covered! Let's go bowling!
