Maryland comes off of their bye week with a trip up to Evanston for a road matchup against Northwestern. The Wildcats began the season in turmoil, firing longtime head coach Pat Fitzgerald in July following allegations of hazing which included sexual abuse. David Braun is the interim head coach, and has led the team to a 3-4 (1-3) record thus far. They've lost their last two conference games to Penn State and Nebraska. Their QB situation is in flux with Ben Bryant injured, so the Terps will likely be preparing for both him and backup Brendan Sullivan.

Maryland opens as 13.5-point favorites in this game, and ESPN gives them an 81.7% chance to win.

Maryland should cover the spread, easily.

Yea, don't be so certain.

Saw the Penn State at NW game a few weeks back....  was a game well into the 3rd before PSU pulled away.
MD should be prepared coming out of the bye.
Ultimately just win, but you want to look good and play a clean game here.

Locksley announces a number of players will be returning from injuries for this game, including RB Ramon Brown, TE Corey Dyches, OL Corey Bullock, DB Tarheeb Still, and DB Dante Trader, Jr.

DL Neeo Avery is still out, and it doesn’t sound like he’ll be playing at all this season.

Still is the only one of these players on the injury report for this game, and is listed as questionable.

The pass rush has been so good the last few weeks. Getting great pressure with just 4 rushers.

Taulia with the old Kyle Boller backwards throw. Can’t keep allowing teams like Northwestern to stay in games like this.
