So nobody cares about fielding, huh?

Didn't realize the Jays defense was that good. Saved a lot more runs than any other team.

I wonder how much Hicks and McKenna took away from Ced. Clearly Hicks did. Still, Mullins couldnt have been that great individually. His bat was also horrible the 2nd half. He may be about to fall pretty hard. I like Ced but there is reason for some concern going forward

Basically an 0-fer for the final two weeks for Ced.  He was almost equally as good in the second half before that point (748) as he was in the first half (774) albeit in half the time.  They all count, so that terrible streak is part of the second half and was deeply bad enough to pull the post-ASB numbers down dramatically (635).  But I have zero concerns about Ced moving forward.  Or I guess more accurately, not enough concerns to make me hesitate at all to sign him to an extension.  I'd still pursue a Reynolds-like extension.  I want him around for more than his 2 remaining years of control.  Give me a 5-year deal and I'm real happy.

I'll have to think about that some.

Ced turned 29 yesterday.

Jones' ages 29-33 seasons were kind of a rough decline.

Ced's not been running out ground balls since August. Can't say I'm seeing a diminished range in CF though, but he's not driving the ball the way he was in the first half of the season, either.

I'll give Cedric a mulligan considering the nagging injuries. He was fine in April/May and regained the power he had in 21.
