1. If Mateo comes out of his tag position earlier (Rafaela had the base stolen), he likely manages to catch McCann's errant throw. ETA - wth was Frazier doing? 

 

2. McCann was needlessly out in front of the plate on that sacrifice to Fuji. If he stayed at the plate, the runner's likely sliding into an out at the plate.

I felt like I was watching a preseason football game where the score didn't matter. You do want to end your season on a winning note, but giving some of the bench guys playing time lets them play some. Using 2 pitchers that won't or can't be on the playoff roster was a good move. Even the announcing team was relaxed and having fun. McDonald having fun in the splash zone with the fans.

 

Only ones not having fun were the Red Sox.
