I’d be fine if McCann caught all weekend, but having a round off is probably good enough. To be honest most of these guys could use a break, but the bye is probably good enough for all these ~25 year olds.

Wonder if its to get Adley and Means one more opportunity to develop together.  Adley's caught the other guys plenty, but only these past few Means starts.

The HRs allowed are scary. They seem inevitable every game. Not saying overall he hasnt been good and deserves a postseason rotation spot but its not fun knowing the HR could come at any moment

Wells has the same problem. Some pitchers are consistently around the plate and prone to the long ball. Some are effectively wild and don't have that problem. As long as most are solo shots, you can still be a solid pitcher.
