So far in September, the O's have scored 5+ runs in a game 12 times. They're 12-0 in those games. They've scored 3 or less 8 times. They're 0-8 in those.

Let's hope Bieber is rusty as hell coming off 2+ months on the IL.
50 and 64 pitches in his two rehab starts, so he won't be around more than maybe 5 innings no matter how good or bad he is. Weird line in those rehab starts. 3.2 IP with 0 hits allowed in each start with 11 total K. But 4 BB and 2 HBP.

If we go 5-4 our last 9 it should be good enough and it doesn't matter when the wins come. Granted, the quicker we get those wins, the better; particularly for my blood pressure and overall stress level.

Getting some rest for the BP and Adley would be nice. Adley's been pretty hot lately though.

Getting some rest for the BP and Adley would be nice. Adley's been pretty hot lately though.
Hyde has done a good job managing Adley's workload behind the dish but he's missed some chances to use McCann in favorable matchups. Tonight, for example; McCann is hitting .500 off Bieber with a HR. Would've been a great spot to give Adley a breather.

Kremer's a master at failing to deliver the out pitch. It's like I've seen a few dozen 1-2 pitches get turned around and belted into the outfield for hits.

Another one. 0-2 pitch and Kremer serves up a pitch that Naylor easily pokes into LF. You don't have to throw a strike on an 0-2 pitch!
