Well glad that's a solo now instead of a 2-run. Not sure we have the bullpen arms to make this a short night for Gibson. Or I guess I'm not sure that going to Flaherty is any better than just hoping Gibson doesn't give up more than 5 or so.

 

I think this is the problem with him being on the Playoff roster.  You can't let him stay out there and absorb innings.  Everyone gets pulled at the first sign of trouble.  You don't get to work through 6 innings with 5 ER.

I think he's been pretty good lately...play to end the inning on Pena was good on that slow chopper....but then he air mails one.

I think it was near zero, but not zero. I want a SS to throw that every time. At least with bases empty.
