Going down to the game tonight, Wednesday Friday and Sunday. Hoping for another good week. If the Orioles do well this week, they more than likely take the division.
As Buck used to say, I hope they slept fast last night.

We only have 1 more off day the rest of the year. Remember noticing that when looking at the schedule and seeing how the difference in games played is made up between us and TB. 23 games in 24 days. Now its 20 games in 21 days. Sept 25th is the off day. Two weeks from today.
Yea, the Orioles have run the gauntlet the last 3 weeks or so and it is going to continue. Back to back West Coast trips. The schedule makers screwed them.

At least 2 blowout wins this series would be very helpful. Hopefully the Cardinals have packed it in already.

They haven't. They're coming off of series wins against Atlanta and Cincinnati.
Still, lets go get a sweep! Start with tonight.

Frazier’s an inferior hitter and vastly inferior defensive 2B to Westburg. What is going on here?

Its a seniority based system.
Hudson has some meaningful career platoon splits (though balanced this year), and Frazier's numbers match Westburg's against RHP. Its been 190 PA for Westburg, 140 for Frazier since Westburg debuted. And Frazier has actually hit better overall than Westburg over that time. I'd like to see a bit more weight towards the Westburg side, but think overall the results have been good.

Plus Westburg is banged up. This is an opportunity to get him a day off.

Eh. Frazier's not a better hitter than Westburg, and the #s you're citing are based on the fact he hit 4 HR in July. While Frazier's started this month well enough, he had a .566 OPS in August. I also don't see the logic in spelling Westburg for Frazier's glove like what happened Saturday during the 'video game' game.
Plus Westburg is banged up. Thus is an opportunity to get him a day off.
This makes more sense than anything else.

Yup. Not a franchise I would expect to roll over. Even if they had kind of checked out they still have enough talent to push you regardlessThey haven't. They're coming off of series wins against Atlanta and Cincinnati.
Still, lets go get a sweep! Start with tonight.

Win tonight and keep the series streak alive. One game at a time.

Wasn't he banged up a bit in Boston as well?

Maybe we can give them Flaherty back for a start while they're here. That would get us at least 1 blowout win.

I read something where he was taken out of the game Saturday due to soreness and he's still on the bench because of that (which is sort of strange given they had no problem having him PH).
