At least we don't have to watch Cowser get dominated by a starter who throws high 90's.
He's the 26th man and he's getting worked on by the MLB hitting coaches. He's currently reaping the benefit of being the fifth pick in a prior draft who is currently on a first place team.
Yeah but if he doesn't bat then how do they ascertain that whatever it is they are trying to do with him is working. But at least we don't have to watch him....lol
Still rather have McKenna there to help the team now.

That was a terrible missed call.
Inning should have been over.
Right. Cost us an error and about 7 extra pitches.

I think they'll work him in,but it will be based on the match up. He's kind of a luxury. If they were fighting for a WC spot, he'd be at Norfolk right now.

Yep, but they ruled the error a hit.

At some point, if you don't punish Miller for throwing first pitch middle-middle, you're going to be down 0-1 every time.

Oh OK. Didn't catch that with the sound down but it looked like an error.

Another walk that comes around to score. Man the O's pitchers are bad about this. And Bradish pitching great otherwise.

Mountcastle with an extended at bat. Grounds deep to thrid. 3B takes his time making the throw and Mounty beats it out. This is the kind of play where I think baseball scoring needs to work. Yes it was deep to third but the double pump nonchalant throw is the reason Mountcastle beat it out. That's an "error" to me not a base hit.

Watching the Mariners feed. Didn't see it if it was here, but apparently Westburg and Miller are childhood friends going back to LL at age 12. (they were referencing a Jake Rill article)

The TV side of the game was talking about this very subject earlier on the McCann play and I think they're trying to push OS's to award base hits because batting averages are so anemic around baseball. That's just my opinion but I really do think that's the reason.

They mentioned it during Westburg's first AB on the MASN broadcast.
