Gibson is what he is. High 4/low 5 ERA veteran who will give you a good game from time to time and eat some innings usually.

It was great to see Cowser draw a couple walks tonight. That’s a good sign IMO.

Sure, I think anyone being sent down isn’t likely to be happy. Look at Nick Vespi the past couple years.

This front office is very smart, they wouldn’t leave him on the major league roster if they didn’t think it would pay off.

IMO, while McKenna may be a bit disappointed, I'm sure he realizes that he didn't lose his spot on the MLB roster because of performance. The Orioles have obviously created roles for Cowser & Mateo that have impacted McKenna.

Perhaps Cowser gets a reprieve if Hays has to go on the IL when Hicks gets back. I really hope that Hays can avoid the IL for obvious reasons.I think Cowser is overwhelmed at this point and adjusting to a bench role is probably proving difficult as well. While I get what the Orioles are doing, I think Cowser should be sent down so that he can finish the season on a positive note. I just don't see it happening with the big club right now.

Ultimately I agree. Give Kjerstad the extra roster spot in September and see what he can do. At the very least they’ll both have ML experience heading into spring training.
