I know Gordon III had the 12 yard run but he’s looked real meh tonight IMO. Continue to not be a fan of this signing. Waste of money that could’ve maybe been used elsewhere or even later into the season (CB). Think Gordon III will be a total waste. I’ve seen nothing to change my mind about that.

Whoever that dude was Buck and Aikman were just talking to was hilarious - referencing the new owner of the Commanders drunkingly thought Joe Buck was shaking his hand during an in booth 1st half interview - this guy said “I didn’t get a handshake from him tonight”. Aikman was cracking up. That was great.

I think criticism of the Commanders, or their treatment of a pre-season game is warranted.  I do believe Baltimore fans should lay off throwing shade at the new owner.  It might be a different sport, but 30 minutes up the road Baltimore fans have to deal with their own jokes in what is arguably the worst ownership in sports.

Washington clearly wanted to win last night.  Good for them.  They played a lot of regulars especially on offense.  It may have cost them their best receiver.

Also for an owner who preached change, he seemingly pulled a very Snyder type move showing up for an interview tanked.  I have a hunch last night may have been one of the highlights of the Commodes season.
